Citing the ambitious nature of the update that changes the game world along with the current state of the real world, Mojang announced today is divided Minecraft‘Caves & Cliffs are updated in two parts. The first half will come out this summer as planned, and the second half will arrive during the holiday season.

One of the most requested updates to Minecraft history, Caves & Cliffs will renew the way the worlds are generated in the game, adding new cave biomes, suitable mountains and all sorts of new building blocks. The update was announced last October during Minecraft Live 2020, with a scheduled release date in the summer of 2021.

According to today’s announcement, Caves & Cliffs has split into two parts. The first part, which the attached FAQs he says it will include “fun and funny mobs, fun articles and new blogs,” which will arrive this summer. The second part will have to be delivered during the 2021 holiday season and will include the radical changes of the world generation that will give name to the Caves & Cliffs.

It looks more like the meat of the update is coming to an end this year, with some brilliant news halfway through to keep players happy. As long as I get my promised goats and axolotls, I’ll be fine.
