Miracles Consol Germa’n Olalla has been appointed by President Luis Abinader as Minister of Culture, after having lasted more than a year at the head of the Communications Directorate (Dicom).
According to Decree 544-21 issued on Monday night, the communicator is replacing Carmen Heredia de Guerrero, effective October 10, 2021.
While Heredia de Guerrero has been appointed “adviser to the Executive Branch on cultural policies, based in the National Palace, effective on October 10, 2021.”
Miracles Germán left his television program Chévere Nights (channel 11 Telesistema), to move to the work team of President Abinader in 2020.
The communicator is also known for her conduct in the program “With Freddy and Miracles”, in which she was with the late television producer and comedian, Freddy Beras Goyco.
The communicator is considered one of the most complete television presenters today.
Germán was one of the four jurors on the Dominican reality show Got Talent, where she was accompanied by Nashla Bogaert, Raymond Pou and Waddys Jáquez.
