Andrea Meza has always been very open with her audience. In fact, every time they have asked her for a gossip or rumor around her, she has turned her face and clarified everything smoothly. Once again, the former representative of Mexico spoke openly in a program of shows.
It was in ‘Drop the Soup’ where Andrea he talked about street harassment and the terrible experience he had to live some time ago. The wrongdoer sought to exercise in the same institution as her and thus be able to look at her constantly. “There was a guy who enrolled in the gym where I went just to be watching me and recording me from afar,” he revealed.
And he continued his harsh story: “Already at 9 pm in the gym I was closing. I was walking to my house and I felt someone coming after me.” Andrea he explained his experience still with fear in his eyes: “I’m starting to want to get closer and it was a fear of not knowing what was going to happen and that there was no one known around me.”
Then Miss Universe talked about the experience of women in general and why she speaks out publicly against the ‘street flower’: “It’s something that all women suffer at any point in our lives and “We want women to feel free to move around the city, without fear of being harassed, to be touched, or to say a flower because they are not flattering.”

In the year 2020, Andrea Meza she was the first ambassador of the “Rejecting street harassment is also healthy distance” campaign launched by the Municipal Women’s Institute (IMM). “Did you know that in Mexico 66.8% of women say they have been sexually harassed in public?” The model asked in promotional campaigns on her social networks.
