MLB announces postseason schedule

NEW YORK – The seventh game of the upcoming World Series was scheduled for November 3, its later date since 2009.

Major Leagues announced Wednesday that its postseason will kick off with the American League wildcard duel on Oct. 5, with the Nationals wildcard crossing the next day.

The two division series of the American League will begin on October 7, while the two of the National League will kick off the following day.

The American Championship Series will begin on October 15, and the Old Circuit Crown Series will open a day later.

The World Series was set to kick off on October 26 at the team’s headquarters with the best record of the regular season. If you go to a maximum of seven games, the final day will be November 3rd.

The last time a World Series was staged was on November 4, 2001 and then in 2009. The Fall Classic has not extended beyond October since 2016, when the Stars won a seventh game in the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on November 1st.

MLB’s regular season will culminate on Oct. 3 and possible playoff games would be played a day later.
