The EMA, which evaluates drugs and vaccines for the EU, said earlier this month that it had been targeted in a cyber attack, which also helped hackers access documents related to the development of Pfizer Inc. and the Bioentech Covit-19 vaccine.

Moderna said there was no information identifying the individual study participants in the submission to the EMA, and there is currently no information that any participants were identified in any way.
