Molly Lillard, the daughter of the great Al Toon of the New York Jets, was fatally shot Sunday at her home in Arizona in an apparent murder-suicide, according to a report.

The couple’s 8-month-old baby was there at the time and was not injured, police said.

Royce Lillard is suspected of killing his wife before 5 p.m. When police showed up at his residence, he barricaded himself inside.

A SWAT team entered the house around 10:45 p.m., and found him dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to police.

The family takes care of the couple’s baby.

Molly Lillard was a prominent volleyball player, both at the Wisconsin High School and later at the University of Michigan, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

His father, Toon, set football records at the University of Wisconsin before being signed by the Jets.

The wide receiver came to the Pro Bowl three times in eight years.
