Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin has received a confirmed release date for Switch, as Capcom announced today that the game will be released to the system on July 9th.
The news comes from today’s digital Monster Hunter event, which is still streamed live on YouTube and Twitch at the time of writing. The event premiered a new game trailer that you can relive in the video below.
Along with news of the release date, it was also confirmed that three of the game’s characters – Ena, Razewing Ratha and Tsukino – will receive amiibo figures. These will be thrown next to the game and will offer bonuses within the game.

And that’s not all, as a Deluxe edition was also revealed.

The showcase also confirmed that Monster Hunter Rise will soon receive a second free demo, and details of future free updates will also be shared.
