The numbers reported by MTN reflect the most recent data from Montana COVID website, along with additional data received from county health departments.

Note: As COVID-19 cases increase in Montana, the disparity between state DPHHS data and local data from county health departments continues to grow.

MTN has decided to use a combination of these sources to provide more accurate information across all media platforms. We believe this is a truer explanation of the situation in Montana.

Local county health departments can receive case alerts from Montana’s DPHHS. Because these counties share this information with the public, MTN believes it should be reflected in our reports. The use of this local data means that there will be times when the MTN coronavirus data does not align with the status report.
