MOORESVILLE, NC (WBTV) – The wife of a Mooresville man who went viral on TikTok, described hospital conditions in relation to unvaccinated COVID-19 patients filling hospital beds, has died, according to could know WBTV News.

Jason Arena posted a passionate video on TikTok while his wife, Marilyn, was ill in the hospital with cancer.
According to Arena TikTok, Marilyn died on August 20th. I had breast cancer in stage 4 and needed to go to the hospital to have some symptoms.
Still, Arena said he was discharged early because the hospital was full of unvaccinated COVID patients.
More than 90 percent of those hospitalized for COVID-19 are not vaccinated. This issue is overwhelming for hospitals and staff.
For Arena, a hospital bed means receiving treatment for his wife. He was in the biggest struggle of his life.
He died 15 days after Arena posted a video of TikTok, which went viral, criticizing those who choose not to receive vaccines against COVID-19.
“My wife is very ill. She’s having, you know, she’s fighting … it’s been a long struggle, “Arena told WBTV last month.
Marilyn had metastatic breast cancer that spread to her liver.
This meant several visits to the hospital, which have now been filled with COVID patients.
“This is the last place an oncology patient wants to be,” Arena said.
Last month, Marilyn’s wife was having trouble breathing, so they decided to take a trip to the local hospital.
“We were there for 13 hours, waiting for a room, it didn’t feel comfortable, no fault of the hospital staff, until 10pm, we got there at 4:30 in the morning,” he said. .
The Mooresville native says his wife was discharged early to make way for COVID patients.
Although his family ** is ** vaccinated, he also says he understands that people have a right to choose. But in a passionate TikTok video, it struck a chord with those who continue to downplay the severity of the disease and question medical professionals.
“If you really believe that COVID is not real, and you really believe that it is not a big problem and you think that you do not need the vaccine, this is your right. I’m not going to discuss this with you, but what I’m going to discuss with you is run to the hospital once you have the virus.
