It looks like Shun’ei’s Climax also had a shine
Yesterday was a big shock for SNK fans when new screenshots of The King of Fighters 15 appeared online and revealed a lot of new details about the upcoming game.
Now, apparently, the details of the Internet have unearthed even more alleged KOF15 images from the same website, including the title boxes. Leading major unannounced content spoilers for The King of Fighters 15 are ahead.
The supposed Japanese PlayStation 4 case for KOF15 uses exactly the same key art from the previous leak with Shun’ei and an unannounced female fighter appearing behind the game’s logo.
Another unknown character is seen above them alongside Heidern, Ash Crimson and K ‘on the opposite side of Treasure Sacred Team. A mysterious boss / villain is slightly obscured in the back.
As for the new screenshots of the game, they give us a slightly better look at the KOF15 user interface during games with meters wider than King of Fighters 14, where the health indicator is also divided into pieces of 10%.
What’s more interesting than that, though, is that they seem to show that Shun’ei’s Climax Super graphics and effects look pretty better than when we saw them in their game trailer earlier this year.
The images have a slightly better quality than the previous leak, so now we can also see Ash in more detail along with Athena, Mai, Yashiro and Iori.
We still don’t know if this information is expected to show up at Gamescom’s presentation, but we’ll find out what SNK had in a few days on August 25th.
As these images have not been officially confirmed by SNK, we should take these alleged leaks with a grain of salt until the time comes.
