More vaccine appointments are opened against COVID-19; adults over the age of 65 can sign up

PHOENIX – Additional coronavirus vaccine appointments will be available Tuesday morning at state vaccination sites, but high demand and available doses remain a concern.

At 9 a.m. on Jan. 19, ADHS says eligible Arizona residents can sign up for vaccination appointments in February for State Farm Stadium in Glendale and Phoenix Municipal Stadium in the Phoenix / Tempe area.

REGISTER THIS APPOINTMENT or call 1-844-542-8201 to get in touch with someone who can help.

“Initial appointments are limited based on the supply of vaccines, and appointments are opened based on the distribution of the vaccine by the federal government,” the Arizona Department of Health Services said Monday morning.

According to reports, Arizona receives weekly vaccine allocations from the federal government, which determines how many vaccine doses the state has and how many appointments can be offered.
