In the latest episode of Mad Money, Jim Cramer said there are different ways to observe a market fund, but he doesn’t think we’re there yet.
Katherine Ross and Cramer of TheStreet talk about the small compression of Tangier, the fall of Tesla, and the makeover of GameStop.
Tangier: buy or sell?
Shares of Tangier factory sales centers (SKT) – Get the report rose on Thursday as real estate investment confidence operating factory outlets drew attention to Reddit’s r / WallStreetBets message board, the forum that came to light with GameStop’s small compression (GME) – Get the report actions.
Cramer said Tangier should not be short. “I like Federal Realty (FRT) – Get the report and Simon Properties (SPG) – Get the report. They are better. Fed Realty is the largest mall company and did not cut its dividend. You can buy a lot of this and get a good performance. Simon Properties is the largest mall company, but stocks have risen a lot, so I want to be cautious. But these are the shares you buy. “
“They [Tanger] they have done better than we thought, they have improved with payments, but they occupy 90% and need to be higher. But you can’t keep it short. “
Tesla: buy or sell?
Ron Baron of Baron Capital Management told CNBC it sold 1.8 million Tesla shares (TSLA) – Get the report during the last six months. Baron, who is president, CEO and portfolio manager of the New York firm, sold the shares as it became too large a percentage of certain client portfolios.
Baron said he expected the shares to reach $ 2,000 in the next decade. He said he sold the shares to mitigate risk to customers, CNBC reported.
Cramer said he would buy Tesla at $ 643 per share, the level at which technology stocks have recently traded. “I know Tesla is transforming. Ron Baron was doing portfolio management. This is a lost concept for a lot of people because they’re not portfolio managers. I could feel the pressure of having too much Tesla. I look at what it does and I think he’s very smart, but people won’t see it that way [Baron] is doing the right thing … Stocks have fallen … It’s time for Cathie Wood to put a fund in Tesla “.
GameStop: buy or sell?
Cramer runs some of the major stocks on highshortinterest.com, a database of stocks that have a short interest rate of over 20%. Highlights include GameStop, Tangier and Rocket.
Cramer said we need Ryan Cohen to use the 5000 [GameStop] stores to become the best place to buy GPU cards, like the ones that come out Nvidia, for my encryption. “They should just turn it into a cryptocurrency mining store. And then make a link to Square, to buy some and make it the place to learn about cryptography.”
