Mortal Kombat and Injustice Fans Sent to a Speculative Frenzy Following NRS Developer’s Tweet

There is a new tweet from a developer at NetherRealm Studios mortal Kombat i Injustice fans who go crazy with speculation. Since it was published Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate in november, NetherRealm Studios has been quiet. Instead of this silence, there have been rumors and “leaks” pointing to more DLC characters coming to the aforementioned game this year, but right now, it’s just rumors and leaks. Meanwhile, there is reason to believe so Injustice 3 will be revealed (and released) very soon. In other words, the hype is being built, and recently the game’s senior animator, Andy Senesac took advantage of that hype with a new post on Twitter.

Arriving on Twitter this week, Senesac revealed that he and the team have returned to the motion capture studio dusting off the team after the pandemic kept them away from the studio for months. Also, use #WhatsInStore, followed by a thinking emoji. Naturally, the combination of these two things sent both things Injustice i mortal Kombat fans make a hole of speculation.

Obviously, Senesac is mocking something here, but there is no real clue as to what he is mocking. Some mortal Kombat fans have pointed out that Senesac wears a mortal Kombat shirt, which in turn suggests that this is MK related, but this is a pretty big stretch.

Of course, it is very possible that this is not the case for injustice 3 or Mortal Kombat 11 DLC characters, but something less exciting like Mortal Kombat 11 film skins.

Unfortunately, right now we are on the same boat as mortal Kombat i Injustice fans, that is, we have nothing but speculation.

If Senesac, NetherRealm Studios, WB Games or anyone else related to the aforementioned franchises provides more jokes or information, we will be sure to update the story accordingly.
