Mother of Border Police Officer Murdered: Bennett, a “Killer” and a “Clown”

Border Police Officer Barel Haderia Shmeuli’s mother assassinated Prime Minister Naftali Bennett as a “bloodthirsty killer in her hands” in a Facebook post, in response to Bennett’s interview granted on Tuesday to the night.

In his various interviews given to the Israeli media, Bennett insisted that Shmueli “was not killed, but fell while on duty.”

Bennett’s comments were in response to Barel’s mother, Nitza Shmueli, who claimed that her son “was not killed during the operational activity, but was killed,” after IDF chief of staff Aviv Kohavi , visited the Shmueli family home in Beer Yaakov in early September.

“Shame,” Barel’s mother, Nitza Shmueli, wrote on Facebook. “I promise you, Bennett, we’ll meet,” he added.

Shmueli later deleted the Facebook post where he called Bennett a “killer”, but went on to write another post, this time calling him a “clown” and claiming that the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas had given him the title of prime minister.

“Bennett, clown, do you even know what a battle is?” Barel’s mother wrote. “The head of Hamas bribed you with a few votes, you are only prime minister because of Hamas,” Shmueli falsely claimed.

“Barel fell during the battle as a Border Police officer while protecting the border, it’s as simple as that,” the prime minister said in Tuesday night’s interviews.

Bennett’s comments came after he publicly apologized to the Shmueli family for confusing the names of Barel and his father, Yossi, while talking to his father on the phone when his son was being treated at the hospital.

Bennett also praised the official fall of the Border Police, saying the Israeli public was exposed to a “Zionist warrior.”
