Mrs Ghislaine Maxwell, accused of Jeffrey Epstein, sells London house to pay legal fees

A jailed socialist, Ghislaine Maxwell, is selling her home in London to fund her legal fees, a family spokesman has confirmed. Jeffrey Epstein’s ex-partner and defendant Mrs., who has been in federal custody since July accused of aiding Epstein’s sex trafficking plan, owned a home in the Belgravia district. The Maxwell representative did not confirm the sale price, but nearby homes have recently sold for between $ 3.6 million and $ 11.2 million. Earlier, the sale caused problems for Maxwell with his bank, Barclays, which closed his account after the buyer made the down payment. Prosecutors have accused Maxwell, daughter of controversial publisher Robert Maxwell, of aiding Epstein in abusing underage girls in the late 1990s. One of Epstein’s accusers claims that she was taken to the London house to have sex with Prince Andrew. Andrew denies the charges; Maxwell has pleaded not guilty.
