A music teacher reported the theft of a musical flute valued at nearly $ 900, on his return to the country, by Las Américas International Airport, on the route of the Customs Hall in the parking area of the airport.
Professor Esmeralda Comprés de Tejada, narrated that she is aware that she left the Customs Hall with the instrument inside a plastic case on top of the cart in which she removed her suitcases.
He indicated that he was stopped for a few seconds in front of a small bar that operates in the passenger exit area. He added that in this place was the person who went to the airport to look for her and minutes later he noticed that the flute was not in the cart.
“That was in a matter of seconds that they took the flute from the cart because he had his eyes fixed on taking care of it all the time,” the professor will point out.

In relation to the case, he said that he complained to the police detachment that operates at the International Airport, in addition to filing the complaint in the detachment of the municipality of La Caleta.
“What they told me was that it was this Monday that they would investigate the videos of the cameras that are installed in the area in order to identify the person who had stolen the flute,” said the professor.
“I want the police to recover that instrument for me because I bought it very expensive and with many sacrifices because my daughter needed it for her music class,” emphasized Professor Esmeralda Compres de Tejada.
