He noted that the worker’s serology test had returned positive, probably due to the antibodies produced after vaccination.
The Indian man who tested positive for Covid-19 was the first in a workers ’dormitory since 28 February.
These facilities that housed foreign workers had the highest cases of Covid-19 during the peak of coronavirus spread last year.
The health ministry said more research is needed to determine whether vaccination will prevent further transmission of the infection.
