Nationals agree the first arbitration of Juan Soto

These are signature dates of Salary Arbitration in MLB, And we have seen how several players have agreed their salaries for the next campaign, for some being the firstor of his careers like Rafael Devers of Red Sox or Cody Bellinger of the Dodgers, and together with them the Dominican Juan Soto of the Nationals of Washington.

According to information from Joel Sherman of The New York Post, the capital and the Dominican have agreed on a salary for the 2021 season of 8 and a half million dollars after accumulating two seasons of service in Major Leagues.

Recall that Juan Soto has been called a “Super-Two” player, meaning that he came to salary arbitration a year earlier than expected after meeting certain requirements, so now the Dominican will be a free agent in 2025 and not in 2026 as expected at first.

In his young career, Soto was already World Series Champion in 2019 with the Nationals and became the youngest Champion Bat in the history of the National League in 2020.
