U.S.S. The Navy Times reports that a San Antonio family has identified a missing sailor in Theodore Roosevelt. Following the discovery of a person appearing in the water during a search Thursday morning, the 3rd Navy report based on San Diego was answered by three helicopters and a boat, and the command-level muster determined that one sailor was not counted, the report said. The missing sailor was identified as Ethan Coolsby, 20, of San Antonio. Kelly and Michael Coolsby, according to the Navy Times. The parents said a naval officer confirmed the details, and according to the store, on Thursday evening, hours after he was first seen in the water, they were notified that he was not aboard the aircraft carrier. “Until they tell us, no one knows where he went,” Ethan’s mother, Michael Coolsby, told the Navy Times. “They won’t tell us if he’s floating, if he’s fighting, if he’s moving. They do not know.” Ethan Coolsby received basic training in January. Will exchange push-up videos of themselves, Ethan said while in isolation to COVID-19 concerns, while Captain Brett Cozier, a Navy carrier, was released from the command for a letter he sent during a corona virus outbreak earlier this year. The search for Ethan Coolsby continued Friday, with several ships participating.Copyright 2020 by KSAT – All rights reserved.
