NBC 2021 New Year’s Eve will welcome some familiar faces as Carson Daly re-organizes the live TV event with the help of correspondents Julianne Hough and EllenDJ, Stephen “tWitch” Boss.
It will be broadcast on Tuesday 31 December from 10 / 9c to 11 / 10c and will return to the final countdown from 11: 30/10: 30c to 12: 30/11: 30c, viewers will be rewarded with various performances from of his favorite artists.
Hough will also perform in Times Square. Performer training for this year’s event also includes X Ambassadors, Brett Eldredge, NE-YO, Leslie Odom Jr., Blake Shelton, The Struts and Gwen Stefani. Meanwhile, Keith Urban will join the fun of the Jack Daniel’s Music City Midnight: New Year’s Eve event in Nashville.
“There’s nothing like spending the night with friends and family and enjoying great music to bring in the new year,” said Doug Vaughan, executive vice president of special programming for NBC Entertainment. “And we certainly have an incredible line-up of top-notch musicians to keep the party going.”
Before NBC 2021 New Year’s Eve, A toast for 2020! will be broadcast from 8/7c to 10/9c with hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager. The first hour special, starring stars, will highlight the most important moments of pop culture of the year. Among the stars who appear are Martin Short, Maya Rudolph, Kristen Bell and Tony Hale, who will serve as the dish for the most animated stories of the year.

Other guests are expected to appear A toast until 2020! they include Lauren Ash, Ryan Eggold, Ben Feldman, Al Roker, Patton Oswalt, Ashley Tisdale and many more. NBC 2021 New Year’s Eve is executed by Daly and John Irwin, Casey Spira is executive co-producer and Alan Carter directs.
