NBC Universal’s peacock says two seasons of “The Office” will be free

Happy Holidays, “The Office” fans – you’re going to get the first two seasons of the comedy series for free.

Seasons 1 and 2 of “The Office” will be available for free on NBC Universal’s streaming service Peacock, the company announced Monday. Season 3 to 9 will be in the peacock fee premium layers, the company said Monday. Advertising support premium subscription costs 99 4.99 per month. The ad-free version is available for 99.99 per month.

“The Office,” the series that Netflix has been watching the most for many years, will only be available to Peacock subscribers from January 1, 2021. Comcast’s NBC Universal Disney + counts as the “office” to run peacock signatures, believing it will compete with Netflix. And an abundance of other streaming products. CNBC reports that NBC Universal Netflix surpassed $ 10 million in one season for “The Office” last year. NBC Universal pays $ 500 million for all 201 episodes of “The Office” over the next five years. Universal Television, a division of NBC Universal, co-produced the show with Deedle-Tee Productions and Revil Productions.

Comcast CEO Brian Roberts announced in September that Peacock had 15 million signatures. NBC Universal predicts that 30 million to 35 million peacock accounts will be active by 2024. Earlier this month, AT&T announced that its flagship streaming service, the HBO Max, had 12.6 million subscribers, and last week Disney had more than 86 million global users.
