California apple store closing

All California retail stores have a notice that warns customers that stores are temporarily closed, although some allow you to pick up great orders and appointments at the bar until December 22nd. It is not known when the stores will reopen, but holidays will remain closed.

Apple has closed stores in California as COVID cases in the state have continued to rise and stores in other parts of the world are also closed right now. Seconds 9to5Mac, there are about 100 Apple stores that are not operational at this time.

Tennessee stores closed this weekend and stores located in the UK’s Level 4 restrictions will stop as of today. Last week 18 stores closed in Germany and the Netherlands and this weekend stores in Mexico and Brazil are closing.

In most stores that are still open in the U.S., Apple operates with limited “Express” capability, allowing for great bar pickups and appointments, but no in-store shopping and browsing.

Apple began closing outlets earlier this year and many of its stores were closed for months in the spring. Apple began opening stores in June, but said stores could close again according to local guidelines and conditions. 400 stores are still open.

In all stores, Apple requires face masks, limits store occupancy, performs temperature checks, implements social distancing measures, and deep cleansing regularly.
