Family and friends say his name is Albert Maynard and he was about 60 years old.

For Williams, knowing that his neighbor has gone very close to home.

“I have known Al for over 40 years. We have been neighbors and we have lived in this neighborhood all our lives, ”he said.

When firefighting teams arrived, they pulled him out of the house and tried to save his life.

He was taken to Bayfront Health, where he died.

Researchers say it was not the only loss of life.
