Like every beginning of the month, Netflix provides the best services to its millions of subscribers with new releases. Faced with this, September was no exception and the streaming giant made available a myriad of films, among which are the most applauded and endorsed by film experts and moviegoers. That’s why we’ll leave you with the most acclaimed movies for you to enjoy this weekend.
The first recommendation is “The Last Love Letter”, A production by director Augustine Frizzell that was based on one of the books by British bestseller Jojo Moyes. This narrative is adapted from the successful novel in which he portrays a story with two stories that run in parallel, but set in different eras. Its main protagonist is a journalist (Felicity Jones) who finds some old love letters from a couple who lived a forbidden romance. The intrigue is so great that the reporter will not rest until she knows the whole story.
Another of the releases that are already in Netflix is “Paternity”, Paul Weitz’s film tells the story of comedian Kevin Hart, showing his dramatic side. The plot portrays what the first year of his life was like after the birth of his daughter and the death of his wife. Although at first the film begins with a hard story, during its reproduction, Hart presents the facts in a balanced way in which he mixes drama with comedy, and includes moments for which it is necessary to have handkerchiefs of a single use by hand.
The latest recommendation goes for anime lovers. On this occasion, Netflix upload to its portfolio the recent production of Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, “The Witcher: The Wolf’s Nightmare”. This animated feature film presents the story of one of the key characters in the past of the protagonist of the series: Vesemir. The plot directed by Han Kwang Il is set 98 years before the adventure of De Rivia, in 1165, when the fortress of Kaer Morhen is still powerful.
Clarification, “The Witcher: The Wolf’s Nightmare” is an adult animated film, due to the level of violence and how they plot the deaths of the protagonists. While it is a great action production, it is recommended if any child wants to see this film on the billboard of Netflix, Do so with the accompaniment of an adult.
