Netflix’s New Year’s countdown helps parents pick up their kids early

Netflix is ​​back to its family collection of videos about the New Year’s countdown, and you can start watching them.

If you’re unfamiliar with the annual tradition, Netflix is ​​releasing a series of short videos with children’s favorite characters so younger members of the household can also celebrate the turn of a new year.

Parents like that videos can be played at any time of the day.

This means children still get a New Year’s Eve countdown at midnight and can go to bed early.

This year, there are 14 videos (five more than last year), and some are aimed at older siblings thanks to YPulse research that showed that 70 percent of Generation Z and millennials prefer to stay in home on New Year’s Eve, Netflix said in a statement.
