In 2021 BMW 5 Series is one of the best new BMW models on sale today, because it is one of the last sedans in which the carmaker has not ruined the formula of an unpretentious German sedan that hides engine performance. The new range M5 CS has it was soon leaked, and is still fortunately reserved on the outside and brutal under the hood.
The M5 CS 2021 appears in a teaser last month. That video confirmed that the new top-of-the-range 5 will offer 626 horsepower, 10 hp more than the M5 competition and 26 hp more than the standard M5, which comes from a tuned version of the 4.4-liter V8 engine with two turbos.
The M5 CS features bronze exterior accents known to many modern BMWs, including the grille cover. Choosing a Grid Off to Go Wirelessit would not have been my personal preference. In my eyes, this car has lips now. Muah.

There are also bronze wheels packed with Pirelli P-Zero rubber, a new lip spoiler in the trunk and what appears to be a dark-accented exhaust custom and a rear diffuser lining.
Another good update is how the new CS reduces 230 pounds of weight over the competition model by just 4,114 pounds. Inside, there’s a custom interior with carbon bucket seats and a bespoke four-seater sedan design, unlike the other 5 Series models in the range. Carbon fiber plays an important role in the weight loss of this new CS finish, including a carbon roof, redesigned hood, divider, diffuser, spoiler and mirrors, all woven in CFRP.
The CS comes at a huge price, however, as it costs a whopping $ 30,900 more than the M5 competition. That’s a whopping $ 142,000 for a lot of carbon, some deceptive wheels and 10 extra horsepower. If you have that price, get your order now, as BMW will only be offering the CS for the 2022 model year and will start delivering it to US customers later this year.
