Adult Swim has published another Rick and Morty promo with Christopher Lloyd as Rick Sanchez after debuting the beloved actor in the role last week. Lloyd’s Doc Brown of Return to the future it bears more than a fleeting resemblance to Rick, and the actor seems the perfect fit for a live-action version of the hit animated series. Jaeden Lieberher plays Morty, Rick’s grandson, who goes with him to wild science fiction adventures. This promotion refers to the famous episode of Pickle Rick Rick and Morty, with the live action Morty finds a pickle and assumes Rick has become a pickle again. Turns out that’s not the case, as Rick de Lloyd shows up behind Morty and takes a quick bite of the pickle. You can see it below.
Some fans are wondering if these teasers are building a live action Rick and Morty End of season five, or at least one scene with the live action duo. Adult Swim remains silent about the idea, but Lloyd has said in the past that he would love to be part of the series.
