New Mario party apparently in development at Nintendo

Nintendo seems to be in the early stages of working on a new one Mario Party game. This next installment would be the first since the 2018 launch Super Mario party and it seems that the same study will also develop it.

This information comes from a new message through social media where it is said that the developer NDcube is looking to hire for a new Mario Party. NDcube is the studio that previously worked Super Mario party among other games like Mario Party 10, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, i Clubhouse Games: 51 world classics. The post begs those interested in working on the next game in the series to join NDcube’s larger team.

In general, this information should not be considered shocking in any case. Given that NDcube has worked on Mario Party series on various inputs and platforms, of course they would receive the call again to work on the next iteration of the series once Nintendo gave the green light. Plus, the fact that Nintendo even wants more Mario Party reaching the future is only obvious. Super Mario party the Nintendo Switch sold incredibly well for the publisher, meaning it was only a matter of time until a follow-up was developed.

Since NDcube continues to clearly look for staff for the next one Mario Party game, maybe it would be a while before we see the game publicly revealed. It’s also worth noting that NDcube itself has also previously worked on mobile titles, so it may not be a blockage for this future title to reach the Switch by default.

Regardless of what the future may hold, however, more Mario Party seems like something you can plan for. Whenever this future title in the series is released, we’ll obviously let you know here on ComicBook.com. Until then, you can follow all of our Nintendo-related coverage right here.
