Central Coast. The official New Year’s Eve celebrations will be held in Gosford and The Entrance on Tuesday 31 December.

Food and entertainment

Celebrations at The Entrance will begin at 3pm with a great range of entertainment, attractions, delicious food and good music.

Familiar

This event is alcohol free and safe for the whole family. Go to The Entrance and take part in the fun.

Join the celebrations and don’t miss the fantastic fireworks castle at 9pm.

Road closures

Please note that numerous roadblocks will apply on 31 December from 15:00 to 22:00.

Gosford – Racing – Football – Music – Fireworks

Horse racing

Celebrations in Gosford begin Tuesday at noon with the traditional New Year’s Eve races at The Entertainment Grounds at Gosford Racetrack until 6 p.m. The first race is at 13.25, the last race at 4.55.

This is an event with entry, adults $ 10, concession $ 5, children under 17 with free adults.

A free shuttle bus will operate between Gosford Rail Station and The Entertainment Grounds from 11.30am. The grounds will be open for parking in New York: entrance via Racecourse Road.

Football

The traditional NYE League A game organized by the Central Coast Mariners will resume. This year, the Mariners will play Perth Glory at 7 p.m. This is an event with entry (free details for children under 16 accompanied by an adult) on the CC Mariners website.

Food: music and fireworks

The boardwalk will be alive with activities, entertainment, delicious food and good music against the backdrop of the boardwalk, with a fantastic fireworks display to end the night at 9:15 p.m.

Road closures

Many roads are closed and there will be detours. The immediate section of Dane Drive Boardwalk will be closed from 4pm to 11pm, with other road closures from 6pm to 11pm.
