NFL 2020 Playoffs Table – Week 15 Standings, Parentheses, Scenarios, and Postseason Prospects

The NFL entered Week 15 with four teams qualified for their 2020 postseason. That number could triple by the end of the weekend. Five additional teams could get at least one spot for the playoffs in the next few days, leaving five places to decide in weeks 16 and 17.

These are all scenarios from the NFL playoff phase, along with ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) analysis of the likelihood of that happening, after the Chargers beat the Raiders 30-27 on Thursday night . This post will be updated after the NFL games on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Note: X indicates a team that has achieved the playoff berth, Y indicates a team that has achieved its division and Z indicates a team that has achieved a first round farewell.

A week after securing their fifth consecutive AFC West title, the Chiefs can take advantage on the home field during this weekend’s playoffs with a win over the Saints and defeats by the Steelers and Bills. And even if they lose to the Saints, FPI would still give them an 88% chance of getting the No. 1 seed.
