“Especially in these difficult times, I am humbled to join them for a charity that will benefit NHS workers at the forefront of this epidemic and pay tribute to their incredible commitment.”

Married couple Joe Davis and Tom Jackson are part of the NHS Trust Choir, and they talked about their enthusiasm for working with Justin in the midst of current epidemics.

Joe, a 37-year-old endocrinologist, said: ‘I remember jokingly about doing a duet, and now it’s happening. I feel incredibly lucky and grateful for the opportunities the singer has given me.

Instead of fighting for the top spot five years ago, Justin asked his Twitter followers to buy A Bridge Over You, a song recorded by a choir of nurses, doctors and NHS staff.

At the time, Justin Track, Love Yourself, was sent this post at the last minute after he wrote online: ‘So it’s not right to be # 1 for 1 week. Let’s do the right thing and help them win. It’s Christmas. Coir_nh Good luck. ‘

After his comment exploded on social media, the NHS team had the opportunity to meet the star, and a strong connection developed.

Commenting on their meeting, Justin said: ‘I’m proud to meet everyone from the singers and I’m so glad they got the top spot.’

Louisham and Greenwich NHS Choir reunited with Canadian singer Abe Road Studios in St. John’s Wood this year, recording a new track called Holly, which may be a cover of his September recording of the same name.

Tom, Joe’s husband and fellow choir member, described the experience as “captivating” and promised the release of a “wonderful song” that underscores the importance of human connection.

The NHS couple confirmed that this was a challenging year for themselves and other workers at the forefront.

Joe acknowledged that this has been a bit of a ‘depression’ in recent months, but hopes the new path will be a ‘real boost’ for medical and non-medical workers.
