The latest Nintendo Switch update that arrived earlier this month seems to have leaked a long-awaited feature that Switch and Switch Lite users have asked Nintendo to add, but no one seems to have noticed. , although this is because the update notes are misleading. According to the patch notes from the last update of the console pair, this update didn’t do much. In fact, the patch notes reveal almost nothing. However, the update did more than the patch notes reveal, or at least that’s what the data researchers claim. Upon reviewing the update files, it was discovered that the update added audio support to the Bluetooth driver without telling anyone.
On Twitter, Nintendo Switch data programmer OatmealDome relayed the news of the discovery and noted that it is currently unclear if there is anything that uses this support. And of course, it’s not guaranteed to be used either, but Nintendo is unlikely to add the feature for no reason, especially considering the context in which gamers have been asking for Bluetooth audio since its 2017 release.
Personally, I don’t think Nintendo would add this for “no reason,” so I hope it is used somewhere. (Especially because Bluetooth audio is a much-requested feature on the switch).

As for Nintendo, it hasn’t commented on any of the above information, and probably won’t. Nintendo rarely comments on rumors, reports or leaks. Since the launch of the Nintendo Switch, it has not commented on any data leaks, and it’s hard to imagine changing that now.
