It’s official, Squadron 3 – Whether you’re ready for it or not, it will hit Nintendo Switch next year.
If you’ve read the story of the third game, you’ll already know that it’s in a new region called Splatlands, a desolate, harsh environment. In the first trailer of the game, we also saw Splatsville, the “city of chaos.”
According to a list of jobs on Nintendo’s Japanese website (via Nintendo’s data analyzer OatmealDome), the company is currently looking for a level designer to renew the “existing” stages.
OatmealDome speculates how this could mean stages of the original Squadron i Squadron 2 they are coming back. In addition, the level designer will also need to adjust stages, weapons, and game modes, place stage objects by game mode, and balance weapon parameter data.
