NJ COVID update: 105-year-old boy survives coronavirus and offers tips for a long life

OCEAN COUNTY, New Jersey (WABC) – An Ocean County woman who tested positive for COVID-19 on her 105th birthday last month has recovered and now has some tips.

Lucia DeClerck said Tuesday that she feels wonderful.

He has now lived through two world wars and two pandemics and, at the age of 105, even reaches the Zoom Dam.

What is your secret?

“I have no secrets, all I do is pray, pray, pray and not eat junk food,” DeClerck said.

Her family said she survived three cardiologists and three husbands and joked it must be steel.

DeClerck says he believes gin-soaked raisins have helped keep her disease-free.

She is now fully vaccinated against COVID and says she will continue her daily prayers for everyone.
