BALTIMORE (WJZ) – There will be no residential garbage collection in the city of Baltimore on Christmas and New Year’s Day.
The offices, courtyards and community collection centers of the city’s Department of Public Works will close on Friday, December 25th and Friday, January 1st.
There will still be garbage collection on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Community recycling collection centers will also be open these days.
Makeup days for garbage collection with lamb Saturday. December 26 and January 2.
Closed facilities for residents and carriers include:
- Northwest Transfer Station, 5030 Reisterstown Road
- Road dump, 6100 Roads
- Northwest Citizens’ Convenience Center, 2840 Sisson Street
- Southwestern Citizens’ Convenience Center, 701 Reedbird Avenue
- Eastern Citizens Convenience Center, 6101 Bowleys Lane
