No regional and special agents of the DEA meet with director of the DNCD

The head of the Caribbean region of the United States Drug Control Administration (DEA), John F. Kanig, and other special agents held a meeting today with the president of the National Drug Control Directorate ( DNCD), José Cabrera Ulloa.

According to a statement sent by the DNCD, the meeting is part of the “strengthening of joint actions between the DNCD and the DEA”, with the aim of prosecuting and punishing drug trafficking, money laundering and other related crimes.

Following this line, Cabrera Ulloa and DEA agents reaffirmed their commitment to continue to strengthen ties of cooperation between the Dominican Republic and the United States against drug trafficking and transnational crime.

In addition to Special Agent Kanig, the assistant for the Caribbean Region, Special Agent Heron, was present at the meeting; DEA aggregates in the country, Special Agents Daniels and Reed.
