Yesterday Blizzard announced they would eliminate 30-, 90-, and 180-day buyout options World of Warcraft, leaving only the 60-day option.

“We have recently reviewed the services available in all currencies. Based on this, we have decided to modify the available game time options in the Blizzard store, ”Blizzard wrote in a forum post.

Buying playing time was a way players experienced World of Warcraft without committing to a periodic subscription payment plan. Starting today, players wishing to continue with this payment model will only be able to purchase game time in 60-day chunks for $ 29.99.

Wowhead.com speculates the step could be to switch game time buyers to one of Blizzard’s subscription plans, which means more money for the company.

Subscription plans i Wow the tokens have not been affected, so don’t worry if you’re like me and pay $ 14.99 monthly.
