A Puerto Rican nurse expressed her displeasure through social media, where she says she had to beg to be given the second dose of the Covid-19 coronavirus vaccine.
“The answer to the second dose. If I die of Covid they give the photo to those in the news. And please for my part they bring the message to the country, that I was a nurse who had to beg for the second dose. Ahhh but people who are not at risk already have both vaccines “(sic.), The health professional wrote on her Facebook account.
Last Tuesday, in the face of complaints from people after arriving in the morning to line up for the vaccination of their second dose and run into the cancellation of the process, the assistant general of the National Guard, José Reyes confirmed that the scheduled shipments of the second dose are not arriving, so they are having to cancel appointments and reschedule them.
“Shipments that are coming to Puerto Rico are not coming as scheduled,” Reis said in a radio interview (WKAQ580).
