Héctor Orlando Be Solís, 53, died this afternoon in the river at least four shots, two of them in the head, while walking on Roosevelt Street, in the municipality of Soyapango.

Xai Solís’ body was left on the sidewalk, in front of a barber shop, while the murderer fled.

Thanks to the fact that it was recorded on a video surveillance camera, the National Civil Police (PNC) mounted a strong operation in the area, resulting in the capture of a suspect in the death of Xai Solís.
He is an active member of the Mara Salvatrucha, who was captured in the Duarte Meléndez community of the same municipality. In the procedure the motorcycle was also found from where he allegedly attacked the victim.
Be Solís was, as confirmed by the PNC, an active member of the gang 18 fraction Meridionals. The PNC reported that the scene is a border area between the two gangs.
