Ohio State basketball makes a big leap in Joe Lunardi’s parenthesis

Everyone is praising the Ohio State basketball team right now. From official national polls (which still don’t mean much) to opinion polls, to images on the net, the Buckeyes impress many of the so-called experts with their six-win career in seven games in the big and bad Big Ten.

As we get closer and closer to the regular season stretch, it seems like a good time to welcome some brackets to see where Buckeyes have in the NCAA field if the season ends today. One of the most popular, of course, is ESPN’s Joe Lunardi and his famous Bracketology.

And while he had OSU around a No. 5 seed at the start of the season, he now has the Buckeyes up to No. 2 seed in his final look at his NCAA tournament projections.

Now, figuring out where the Bucks fit into this year’s big tournament puzzle is even harder to decipher with all the games being played in and around Indianapolis due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but right now you have to Ohio State vs. No. 15 Louisiana box office in the first round.

Look, that will change a thousand times between now and March, but right now the Buckeyes look like a group that is improving and playing their best ball. We hope it continues like this. If you do, you’ll see even more positive projections of the NCAA tournament.
