One of the biggest goals for the Ohio State football team in the 2020 season was to play and win another Big Ten championship. The Buckeyes will have that opportunity Saturday when they face West Division champion Northwestern Wildcats.
Not many people give Northwestern many opportunities in this, but it is a program based on overcoming and proving that all doubters are wrong. This has been Pat Fitzgerald’s culture and has continued into 2020. Just when you think wildcats don’t have the staff to stay with the most so-called talented teams, they show what a well-trained team they are and they do something pretty amazing.
But beating Ohio State on Saturday is a completely different animal, something not to be missed at Fitzgerald. Northwestern may have to play their best-inspired game of the season to shock the world of college football. So yes, it’s a big challenge.
