The comments of the former chief minister came a day after India opened formal diplomatic talks with representatives of Afghanistan’s new rulers. India’s envoy to Qatar, Deepak Mittal, met at the Indian embassy in Doha with key Taliban diplomat Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai.
