Overwatch 2 accidentally leaks two new characters

Blizzard has possibly leaked two new characters that will come along Overwatch 2 on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch. Earlier this month at BlizzCon, Blizzard disappointed Overwatch fans with the bit of Overwatch 2 he showed. Reinforcing this disappointment was the lack of a revealed character. However, while Blizzard didn’t come out and announce a new character, the images they showed seem to hint at two new characters joining the series list.

The first is that fans do not need any introduction, and this is due to the fact that it has long been added to the list of the series Overwatch 2 it was even announced. In the images shown on BlizzCon, pieces of Junker Queen (her gloves and ax) can be seen putting t in the background, suggesting she is in the game with some ability.

The other recently leaked character involves a bit more speculation and is a character some players won’t be familiar with. Also on Reddit, a user recently pointed out that one of the villains of the robot looks suspiciously similar to Soundquake, a hero from the game universe. The resemblance is hard to ignore, though at this point it’s impossible to know if there’s really anything, let alone a hint that Soundquake is also coming to the sequel.

As always, bring it all here with a grain of salt. While Junker Queen’s assets in the background apparently confirm its existence in the sequel, this is not official information. Meanwhile, it’s hard to know what to make of the previous Soundquake observation, let alone state that that means they get into the game.

Overwatch 2 is in development for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4 and Xbox One. At the time of release, there has been no release date or the game will arrive on PS5 or Xbox Series X / S.
