By the end of Sunday night, the Green Bay Packers could have secured the top spot in the NFC.
And it won’t take much in terms of results to achieve that.
The way forward in Week 16 is easy for the Packers – hopefully getting the right result during a major opening game and then beating the Tennessee Titans in “Sunday Night Football”.
The Packers can get seed number 1 with the following two results:
– The Los Angeles Rams win (or draw) against the Seattle Seahawks
– The Packers win against the Titans
The Rams and Seahawks play in Seattle starting at 3:25 pm CT on Sunday. The Packers will host the Titans at Lambeau Field at 7:15 p.m. Before the launch, Matt LaFleur’s team will know if he can get the top spot by beating the Titans.
The Chicago Bears, who will welcome the Packers to Soldier Field in the season finale next Sunday, are still looking for their final playoff spot in the NFC. They play the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, but they can’t get a playoff or be eliminated this week, which means next week will be important for Matt Nagy’s team. Regardless of what happens in Week 16, the Packers can get the top spot victory over the Bears next week.
