The Secretary of the Department of the Treasury of Puerto Rico, Francisco Parés, is preparing to avoid a misdemeanor in the distribution of the $ 1,400 federal to the citizens once the Government of the United States turns into law this aid.
On his Twitter account, Parés responded to a question from a citizen about the preparation of the draft of this distribution plan, which must be delivered with each legislative aid and approved by the federal government.
“Did you prepare the draft of the $ 1,400.00 Distribution Plan to submit as soon as they approve it?” Was the question. To this claim, the official replied “proper planning avoids poor performance”.

The $ 1,400 aid is currently stalled in Congress over the debate over a federal minimum wage increase to $ 15 an hour, a move driven by President Joe Biden.
Previously, and without problems to be able to distribute them, the Treasury has distributed to the public the last approved aid of $ 1200 and $ 600. This new aid package is being discussed by the Donald Trump administration as it seeks to add the last $ 600 and was a total of $ 2 thousand.
