Patrick Mahomes, favorite to win the Super Bowl LV MVP award over Tom Brady

Tom Brady has won more Super Bowl Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards than anyone, but he is not the favorite to win the award in the LV edition.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is the betting favorite to be named the most valuable player in the next game for the NFL title, with -120 mummies on the Caesars Sportsbook by William Hill. Brady is second with +190.

Muhammad won the Super Bowl MVP award last year after hitting three touchdowns, including two touchdown passes in the fourth period that helped the Chiefs bounce back from the San Francisco 49ers and win the LIV edition with a score of 31-20.

Brady has been named the MVP in four of his six Super Bowl victories, the last in 2017, when he helped the New England Patriots recover from a 28-3 deficit to beat the Atlanta Falcons.

The quarterback of the winning teams has taken the MVP award 29 times, including eight of the last 11 Super Bowls, however, for the LV edition there are intriguing players on both teams.

Receiver Tyreek Hill and Chiefs ’closed-wing Travis Kelce have 13-1 bets. Buccaneers runner-up Leonard Fournette is 25-1, followed by Kansas City runner-up Clyde Edwards-Helaire at 30-1.

Tampa Bay receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin are also 30-1 each in betting. Buccaneers linebacker Shaquil Barrett and Chiefs safety Tyrann Mathieu have the best chances for defensive players at 40-1.

The Super Bowl LV will be played on February 7 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The Chiefs are the three-point consensus favorites over the Buccaneers.
