Keke Palmer’s hosting tasks for this year’s Met Gala red carpet ended Monday night and let Twitter users ask the actor to host more events, or maybe each event.
The actor hosted Vogue’s live broadcast of the star-studded event with actor and comedian Ilana Glazer. They helped keep the red carpet coverage alive while interviewing and offering feedback for the duration of the event, which lasted more than three hours.
In particular, Palmer spent many fun moments out of his hands during his conversations with other stars on the red carpet. It was his first time at the event.
The actor, who is set to star in Jordan Peele’s next thriller, “Nope,” tweeted a video clip of a fun exchange he had with Amanda Gorman, the youngest inaugural poet in U.S. history.
In the clip, Palmer asks Gorman about his handbag: “Oh, wait a minute, now, tell me about this clutch. “Give us tired,” now what does that mean, Miss Mamas? “
Actor “Hustlers” commented on the clip after making his rounds on Twitter.
“Why am I like that,” he joked.
In another clip, Palmer holds a lively talk with Tracee Ellis Ross, who talks about the importance of black women feeling free to express themselves in fashion. They also share a laugh about Ross ’very large Balenciaga clutch.
Speaking with Kacey Musgraves and Olivia Rodrigo, Palmer said the two artists gave “two different services.”
And then a lively talk with singer and songwriter Frank Ocean, which included a discussion of his zodiac signs and his admiration for each other, Palmer said to the camera, “Who doesn’t love Frank Ocean? It always says something that makes your mind say, “Yeah, yeah, yeah … I don’t know yet, but yeah.” ”
Palmer told WWD before the Met Gala that she was “very excited” to host the event and that she planned to have a good time.
“You know me, I’ll always be a little fun,” he said.
Twitter users are sure to have a good time watching Palmer. Many are calling for Palmer, who co-hosted ABC’s old “Good Morning America” show, “Strahan, Sara and Keke,” to continue using his talents.
“Can we all agree unanimously that she can, must and will accept absolutely everything?” a Twitter user he wrote.
