The ex-girlfriend of fashion mogul Peter Nygard lured an aspiring model to her Bahamas venue and forced her to have sex with him, according to a Florida federal lawsuit.
The alleged victim, identified only as Jane Doe, claims that Suelyn Medeiros acted as Nygard’s mistress “recruiting young women to rape Nygard as part of her extensive international sex trafficking business,” attorney Lisa wrote Bean in the lawsuit filed in the South Florida district.
Nygard, 79, was arrested Tuesday in Canada on a Manhattan federal indictment for allegedly sexually assaulting dozens of teens and women for decades. More than 50 women have sued the flamboyant Canadian tycoon for rape and sexual assault, many of whom they say were minors. Two of the employer’s own children accused him of hiring an escort to rape them when they were minors.
The Florida lawsuit alleges that Medeiros befriended Jane Doe in 2010, when she was just 18, and seduced her at the famous Nygard Bahamas grounds for rape.
Medeiros told him he had to have sex with the elderly, but that he shouldn’t worry, as it would be “very quick and easy,” the presentation says.
Jane Doe refused and Medeiros abruptly left the island, abandoning the teenage girl.
“Nygard forced Jane Doe into bed, keeping her arms down and ignoring attempts to tell her no,” the lawsuit alleges.
The next morning he gave her $ 500 as “payment” for the rape, ”Haba wrote.
The lawsuit, which does not hate Nygard as a defendant, alleges that Medeiros trafficked the Finnish-born designer with her and other women.
Medeiros was an employee of Nygard International, the clothing company based in Times Square, but she was actually a sex worker, according to newspapers. “Her job was to have sex with Nygard and recruit and attract other young women to have sex (or be raped, sexually assaulted or sexually abused) by Nygard,” Haba wrote in the complaint.
In return for his services, Medeiros received a good reward with cash, plastic surgery, stem cell injections, jewelry and four luxury cars, including a DeLorean. The presentation includes shots of Medeiros kissing from the driver’s seat of a red Ferrari.
Newspapers report that Medeiros continues to do Nygard’s dirty work, helping him cover up his alleged sexual offenses that occurred in his palace homes in California, the Bahamas and Canada.
The lawsuit seeks compensatory and punitive damages.
Medeiros’ alleged role in the Nygard sex trafficking conspiracy echoes the allegations against Ghislaine Maxwell, accused of recruiting girls and women to be sexually abused by her and Jeffrey Epstein.
In a similar lawsuit filed last month in Manhattan federal court, another woman, who only appears as Jane Doe, sued talented agent Jonathan Baram accusing her of sexually treating her in Nygard, which is not designated as defendant.
Medeiros is a client of the Baram agency. He has appeared in numerous music videos, including “I’m a Flirt” by R Kelly and Red Hot Chili Peppers “Humpde Bump,” according to his biography on the Warren & Baram Management website.
Medeiros and Baram did not immediately return requests for comment.
