Carlson played a clip of Meghan’s interview with Winfrey in which she said she told several people in the palace that she was struggling with mental health issues, including suicidal thoughts.

“It’s just impossible to believe that there were two people in the palace who would be so insensitive for a woman to tell them she was suicidal,” Morgan said. “But there is also the position of Prince Harry in all this. It is linked to many of the largest mental health charities in Britain.
The former host of the morning show said he did not believe Meghan was a “terrible victim of racist oppression,” and said she “is completely deceiving or deliberately lying.”
Morgan also targeted Winfrey, accusing her of not challenging the claims Meghan and Harry made during the interview.
“Iyou know, my problem with this whole interview was that these incredibly damaging allegations were made and none of them were properly challenged. None of them were questioned based on actual reality nor was anyone asked, well, who is that person, ”Morgan added.
Morgan also shared details about his decision to leave the ITV program, saying he was reduced to his refusal to apologize for his statements about Meghan.
“I should be a journalist and question the veracity of these statements. And, frankly, I should be allowed in a democracy that values freedom of speech, that allows me to say, ‘I’m sorry, I don’t think so.’ But I do not. I wasn’t allowed to do that, ”Morgan said.
