
Pikmin it has never been from Nintendo major franchises in terms of units sold, but it’s good to know that the latest entry – Pikmin 3 Deluxe – has found some commercial success in Japan.
Total physical sales of the game, which is an upgrade from the original Wii U, to Nintendo’s homeland, now stand at 513,225 copies, meaning the Switch title has sold out the original GameCube Pikmin, which garnered 502,996 sales throughout its life, but was later reissued on the Wii.
Unlike the original Wii U version of Pikmin 3 it only managed to exchange 232,313 units in Japan.
